See the first motorized fire truck used in Indiana and other exhibits, displays and collections of fire-fighting equipment, including a fire pole and an operational fire alarm system. Also see Terre Haute's first horse-drawn ambulance operated by the Police Department in 1885. Memorabilia from 1910 to 1940s. Open 1-4 pm Sunday, May 1-Sept. 15. Free admission. The complex includes the oldest existing (1837) brewery building in the region.The Brewhaus is where the historic Champagne Velvet beers are currently produced, and also serves as a banquet facility with seating up to 450. America's oldest standing vaudeville theatre, the Hippodrome serves as the Scottish Rite Temple since 1955. The German Renaissance Revival-style building was designed by John Eberson.
