Sweet Egg-Scape to Celebrate Easter

Easter is the perfect sweet egg-scape to springtime. Waking up to Easter Egg baskets, gathering for a meal with your loved ones, dyeing hard-boiled Easter Eggs and enjoying the outdoors; freshly bloomed tulips and the warm sunshine. 
 
Easter is quickly approaching, and the holiday celebration means something different to everyone living in or visiting Terre Haute to celebrate. See You In Terre Haute has you and your loved ones covered to make sure you’re taking advantage of all the community has to offer until April 9!

• Come to The Meadows on weekends through April 8 by Images Photography.
• Bring your pets to the Haute City Center on April 8.
• Travel to Deming Park Holiday House from April 1-2.

Family-friendly activities in Deming Park: 

• Bring your little ones to an Easter Egg Hunt on April 1. Ages 2-4 begin at 1:30 pm and Ages 5-10 begin at 2:30 pm.
• Hop on the Bunny Express Train Rides on April 1, 2, 8 and 9 from 1 pm – 5 pm at the Deming Park Train Station.
• Smile for Easter Bunny Pictures on April 1 – 2 and Deming Park Holiday House.

 
Easter Egg Hunts: 

• Visit Westminster Village Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 from 10 am – 12 pm. 
• Join the Easter Bunny for the Easter Egg Hunt and lunch at the Wigwam Skate & Event Center on April 1 from 12 pm – 4 pm.
• Take on the Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 for ages 2-4 beginning at 1:30 pm and ages 5-10 beginning at 2:30 pm.
• Come to the Silver Birch Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 at 1 pm.
• Plan for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Bogey’s Family Fun Center on April 7. For ages 2-4 and 8-9, it begins at 2 pm and ages 5-7 and 10-12 begin at 3 pm.

 
If you’re participating in the Easter Egg Hunts you should pick up a “passport” online or at any participating location. The passport will direct them to the participating businesses, and with every visit and every egg found, the egg hunters will get a stamp at that location. Once an egg-hunter collects 12 stamps on their “passport” they may turn it in for a chance to win a basket full of prizes. Participants can send a photo of their completed passport to the Downtown Terre Haute email. Happy hunting!
