Children's Theatre of Terre Haute
The Children’s Theatre of Terre Haute offers two annual performances; one in the spring and one in the fall for local children. Past performances have included “High School Musical Jr.”, “Willy wonka Jr.”, and “Mary Poppins Jr.” coming in November, 2019.

Community Theatre is the oldest non-professional theater in the state. Volunteers produce stage productions (including a musical), the annual Awards Night, a summer camp for children and community outreach programs. Community Theater “Where Everyone Plays a Part!” has volunteer opportunities year round.

Educational conferences, conventions, concerts, stage shows, sporting events, banquets and dances are only a few reasons for visiting Hulman Center. The arena is home court for the Indiana State University Sycamores basketball teams. Broadway plays, concerts and nationally known performers are regularly featured. Seating capacity in the arena ranges from 2,600 to 11,000 with the event dictating the configuration.

The ISU School of Music sponsors numerous solo and ensemble performances by students, faculty members and guests. For more information, call the music department hotline at 812.237.2771. The Contemporary Music Festival is conducted on campus each fall (October or November). The three-day event attracts composers, critics and musicians from coast to coast. Indiana State University Speakers Series has featured Former White House Chief of Staff Leon Panetta, actress Marlee Matlin and humorist and columnist Dave Barry. Masterworks Chorale

The Indiana State University Masterworks Chorale is a university and community chorus that studies and performs a musical repertoire of major choral masterworks. Two concerts are presented per year in December and April. Membership is open to students and members of the community. Rehearsals are held at 7 p.m. Mondays in the ISU Center for Performing and Fine Arts at Seventh and Chestnut streets.

The Mill
Located just east of the Wabash River, The Mill Terre Haute is the area's newest music venue. Covering over 65 acres the Mill is on the outskirts of major commercial, residential, and travel locations. With concerts throughout the year, the Mill never ceases to entertain its guests. Some featured concerts have been Nelly, Riley Green and Three Dog Night.

You may not associate an engineering and science college with fabulous arts and entertainment, but that’s exactly what you’ll find at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The college opened the Hatfield Hall performing arts center in November 2002. It has a 602-seat theater, rehearsal rooms for student organizations, an alumni center and offices for the institutional advancement, communication, marketing and alumni affairs.

Terre Haute Community Band
The Community Band performs a series of free concerts in Fairbank Park throughout the summer featuring a variety of light classic, march, Broadway, and show tunes as well as modern music for concert band. The band is comprised of approximately 50 Wabash Valley amateur and professional musicians ranging from talented high school students to retired adults. Rehearsals are held each Monday evening during the summer concert season.

Terre Haute Sinfonietta Pops Orchestra
Sixty professional and amateur musicians perform four pops concerts each year at the St Mary-of-the-Woods College Cecilian Auditorium. Music includes light classical, country, Broadway show tunes and movie melodies. Open to local orchestral musicians by approval of the conductor.

Professional musicians perform an annual season of concerts September through May at Tilson Auditorium on Indiana State University’s campus. The Terre Haute Symphony is Indiana’s oldest professional symphony. Nationally and internationally known guest artists perform with the orchestra.
