Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a year packed full of events. Spring kicks off with Earth Day at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods on April 18, offering family-friendly activities to honor our planet. Haute Hops & Vines Fest in Downtown Terre Haute takes place on May 16, and the Banks of the Wabash Festival at Fairbanks Park runs May 21-30, bringing the community together with entertainment, food, and fun.
Summer continues with the Strawberry Festival in Downtown Terre Haute on June 11 and the 6th Street Arts Festival on June 13, along with Wine on the Wabash in June and August. July heats up with the Vigo County Fair from July 11-18, while the Terre Haute Air Show on August 22-23 thrills audiences with aerobatics, vintage aircraft, and family activities.
Step into September with Explore Wabashiki on September 19 and Old Fashion Day at Collett Park on September 20. The skies light up for the Terre Haute Balloon Fest on September 25-26, offering tethered rides, a balloon glow, and festival food. October brings Pioneer Days at Fowler Park on October 3-4, where historical demonstrations, traditional crafts, and fall favorites create a nostalgic experience.
Close out the year with holiday magic at the Christmas Walk and Miracle on 7th Street on December 4-5.
